Away We Go!

So it was finally time to start out on the trip. The airplane rides were pretty cool. We flew out of Cincinnati on Wednesday afternoon and then went to a Toronto. Then we flew to Istanbul, it took 10 hours! We finally arrived in Kyrgyzstan at about 5:30 this morning. Our first flight was delayed so we had to wait for an extra 2.5 hours. The ride from Toronto to Istanbul was a little cray-cray. We had three babies around us that cried a lot, an irritated old lady sat next to us and the people behind me had a cat in a pet carrier that kept getting out and running down the aisles. But it was okay because I had my own tv with earbuds and could watch whatever movies I wanted. I ended up watching The Greatest Showman and Avengers: infinity War. I slept some too. When we got to Istanbul, I met up with my friend Emily. She's also going on this trip with me and was adopted at the same time from the same orphanage as me! Even though we got here early in the morning, our bodies still feel like it's nighttime back home (since we are 10 hours ahead here). I wanted to lay down and take a long nap but my mom only let me sleep for 30 minutes and then made me get up and eat breakfast before we started on our plans for the day.
